Armor Sports is a ministry outreach of NewPointe Community Church that is here to create positive youth sports environments for the purpose of life-changing experiences. We use our More Than A Game philosophy to help create an environment where we can learn and build character, understand the importance of healthy competition, and experience the importance of community. We want to create a clean, safe, and fun atmosphere for you and your family while providing an opportunity to get to know our Savior, Jesus, through sports!
Armor Sports was initially founded in 2012 and was relaunched in 2022. Prior to relaunching, 400+ athletes participated in Armor Basketball in the winter season. We now have over 1,000 athletes and families participating in three different seasons! Armor Sports has renewed its commitment to the youth sports community by establishing multiple sports across eastern Ohio, including the new Armor Sports Complex, a 28-acre facility located at the Dover campus.
At Armor Sports, we use our More Than A Game (MTAG) philosophy to emphasize life skill development. This allows our athletes to win on and off the field. We want to partner with families to help further develop the character and integrity if their athletes based on Christian Values.
Team Snap is our go to communication tool for families, coaches and administrators. All post registration information such as schedules, rosters, league calendar and league updates take place in Team Snap. If you have recently registered for any Armor Sports league, download Team Snap and look for the invitation email once rosters are released. Get it on the App Store or Google Play.
Positive Coaching Alliance is a non-profit organization that strives to create a positive youth sports environment. Their mission is to change the culture of youth sports so that every child, regardless of social or economic circumstances, has access to a positive youth sports experience.
They want a world where every young person benefits from a positive youth sports experience with a coach who inspires them to be the best version of themselves in the game and in life. NFL FLAG is the largest flag football league in the United States. Flag football is the perfect introduction to football fundamentals and a great opportunity for tackle athletes to refine their technique and improve their game in the offseason. NFL FLAG league is designed to give boys and girls of all abilities a chance to learn, play—and have a blast doing it. Flag leagues are no contact, so boys and girls of all ages and skill levels can learn to play—and have tons of fun.
