Collective

< K-5th The 3 major parts 7 Checkpoints

The Collective is our environment for 6-12th graders. Collective REMIX* is for our middle schoolers while Collective NIGHTS is for those in high school. Each week, students experience a combination of games, music, teaching, and a small group environment where they build relationships and and grow in their faith. Our goal is to create an irresistible environment where students learn to see God for who He is, see themselves the way God sees them, and love others the way He loves us.

THE COLLECTIVE IS MADE UP OF 3 PRIMARY ENVIRONMENTS

These parts help us accomplish our mission of helping students discover a faith of their own.

ENGAGING STUDENT ENVIRONMENTS

Our services include an engaging environment where students can connect with each other, experience relevant teaching and high-energy music, and be part of a small group environment where they can learn to apply what is taught from the stage.

Events

The Collective offers exciting events throughout the year for students. These events range from camps/retreats, to mission trips, to campus-specific activities, and even several events with their small group.

SERVING

One of the ways that students can get involved is through serving at their campus. We encourage our students to get involved by serving in our children's environments in various capacities whether it is leading a group, assisting in a classroom, or working behind the scenes. In addition to serving at NewPointe, our students serve at other locations in our community with their campus or small group.

7 CHECKPOINTS

Everything we do in The Collective ultimately boils down to 7 key checkpoints that we want our students to completely understand – before they move into the adult world.

That means our teachers, small group leaders, discussions, camps & retreats, & even fun nights, are designed to makes these 7 principles come into focus for students:

AUTHENTIC FAITH – GOD CAN BE TRUSTED; HE WILL DO WHAT HE PROMISED TO DO.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES – WHEN YOU SEE AS GOD SEES, YOU WILL DO AS GOD SAYS.

MORAL BOUNDARIES – PURITY PAVES THE WAY TO INTIMACY.

HEALTHY FRIENDSHIPS – FRIENDS DETERMINE THE QUALITY AND DIRECTION OF YOUR LIFE.

WISE CHOICES – IN LIGHT OF OUR PAST EXPERIENCES, PRESENT SITUATION AND FUTURE HOPES AND DREAMS – WHAT’S THE WISE CHOICE?

ULTIMATE AUTHORITY – MAXIMUM FREEDOM IS FOUND UNDER GOD’S AUTHORITY.

OTHERS FIRST – CONSIDERING OTHERS BEFORE YOURSELF IS A HABIT WE CAN DEVELOP.
